EDDEx: How you can help or get involved

As we begin to design and develop EDDEx, we seek to mobilize the entire entrepreneurial ecosystem. Only with broad support from all constituencies can we ensure that EDDEx will achieve its objective of making entrepreneurship more diverse, inclusive and equitable.

Please review the following subsections to learn about different ways to support EDDEx, and contact us if you are able to help or have any questions.

Technology

We need to identify a platform for the creation, storage, access, control and sharing of personal information. The platform needs to provide a high level of security, privacy, scalability, resilience and speed. If you are a technology organization that works in this space and are interested in providing resources to support EDDEx, we would love to hear from you.

Definition of guidelines and standards

If your organization advocates in support of specific groups of traditionally underserved groups on the basis of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, (dis)ability, religious beliefs, nationality, socioeconomic status or any other characteristic, and if you want to ensure that the people for whom you advocate are part of the conversation, consider applying to be part of our Standards Council, which will be instrumental in the creation of guidelines, standards and processes to ensure that EDDEx is leveling the playing field for all entrepreneurs. Contact us to learn more.

Financial support

While we expect EDDEx to become self-sufficient in the long term, the creation and initial launch of EDDEx will require capital and other resources.

If you are a funder, researcher or service/product provider, consider signing up early for a subscription to take advantage of deep pre-launch discounts while supporting our initial efforts. Your contribution will also give you early exposure to our entrepreneurial community and other members of the ecosystem, and will help you shape EDDEx.

If you are a grant-giving organization or an individual interested in supporting the creation and launch of EDDEx, consider supporting us with a grant or donation (ARC is a registered 501(c)(3) corporation). Your support will give you significant visibility in the entrepreneurial ecosystem and demonstrate your commitment to greater equality in entrepreneurship. Please contact us to discuss how you can support EDDEx.

Letters of interest and other expressions of interest

Individuals and organizations who are interested in EDDEx but are unable to provide direct support can still help us launch EDDEx by providing us non-binding Letters of Interest to express their support for these ideas. We can leverage stated interest from all constituencies: entrepreneurs, advocates, funders, researchers, affiliates, policymakers and legislators. Please download this EDDEx Letter of Interest template, complete it on your organization’s letterhead and email it to us.

We also welcome feedback about all aspects of EDDEx, especially those aspects that impact you and your constituency most directly.

Lastly, please visit EDDEx.org and send us an email for any additional questions, comments, or to receive updates as EDDEx progresses.
